A friend of mine commented recently that she loves Thanksgiving because it is one of the only holidays that hasn't been destroyed by commercialism. Maybe that's why I like it so much. It's about me and my family and my thankfulness to my Heavenly Father.

Can you believe that Halloween is in just two months? Our household has been a whirl of school supplies and new shoes and I realized the other day that before I know it, the holidays are going to be upon me!
